UseCase » Input / output data for the models

The data services provide the input and output data for the models as a service (MaaS).

  • The minimal input data for the MaaS are the following:
    • (In1) DEM (Digital Elevation Model) of the study area;
    • (In2) geological map (giving the geological information about the superficial surface);
    • (In4) geotechnical data (map and soil properties of geotechnical formations, where each formation is characterized by a soil column constituted of successive soil layers);
    • (In5) time series of precipitation data;
    • (In10) map of elements at risk (for linear elements: roads, railway, electric network, gas…).
      • This can be delivered as differents services, one for the roads, one for the railway, one for the electric network...
  • The output data from the MaaS are the following:
    • (Out2) groundwater level;
    • (Out3) map of safety factors or probabilities of landsliding (probabilities of slopes getting unstable) ;
    • (Out4) landslide hazard map (map of the probabilities of being affected by landslides);
    • (Out5) landslide risk map (map of the probabilities of damage to the exposed elements).
  • The input data of certain MaaS are calculated by other MaaS. They can also be provided by data services if appropriate data services are available.
    • (In7) groundwater level – (Out2)
    • (In8) map of probabilities of landsliding – (Out3)
    • (In9) landslide hazard map – (Out4)
  • Some input data can be contained in other data: DEM (In1) is contained in the geological / geotechnical model (Out1).
