The Web Processing Services proposed are the following:

  • Predict Oil Drift
    Predict Oil Drift takes wind, current, bathymetry and costline of a given area as input and calculates a water concentration grid as time series for a given oil spill incident. The incident itself is defined by a spill location, a release rate, an oil type and a duration.
  • Predict Cod Effects
    Predict Cod Effect takes the result from Predict Oil Drift, the water concentration grid, and calculates its effect on cod larvae and cod population in that area.
