The oil drift model PredictOilDrift does not use sensor data as input for the processing services.
Neither does PredictCodEffect.
One could however envision the use of sensor data in future versions of the oil spill decision support portal:
- Satellite pictures of the oil slick to update slick positions;
- AIS data (automatic identification system) for identification of ships that are candidate sources of a given oil spill (requires backtracking capability of the oil drift model).
